GUIDED EPIC RIDE AND INTERMEDIATE SKILLS


Experience the one of a kind Australian Alpine Epic Trail... it is called the Epic for a reason!


On Saturday you will travel along 45km of alpine single track and terrain. After pushing through the first three quarters of trail, the final descent will reward your effort and leave you breathless, finishing the journey with 8km of flowing single track.


Fully supported tour with qualified mountain bike guide to brief you on trails, first aid certified and mechanical backup. Intermediate skills and moderate fitness required to tackle the climbs and distance. Tour can take between 5 and 7 hours depending on your fitness and ability.


On Sunday you will brush up on your skills, working with your instructor to improve specific areas of interest. Enjoying the freshly upgraded trails within the Buller network.


To get the best from your bike, you will also learn tips on suspension and bike setup.  


Sessions will run from 9.30am to 4.30pm on Saturday (with a lunch break), and 9.30am to 12.30pm on Sunday (optional ride time in the afternoon). A participant information guide with key details will be emailed in early February. 


Bookable as a day visitor (price shown) or add a weekend experience package (will appear as an 'optional extra' as part of the booking process).


Weekend package includes:

  • Two nights accommodation on Friday and Saturday, includes ensuite (twin share)
  • Breakfast and lunch daily
  • Gourmet sunset barbeque dinner on Saturday night, plus guest speakers and prize giveaways
  • Sunset guided walk
  • Two days of mountain bike skills, includes maintenance session
  • Morning yoga/pilates or guided nature walk
  • Plus a participant showbag

Bike hire available via the All Terrain Cycles website. Bike pick up from their store in the Village Plaza at Mt Buller. MBB participants receive 10% off hire for the weekend (enter MBB2023HIRE when booking on their page).

COVID POLICY

MBB follows a COVIDSafe Plan aligned with Victoria's Roadmap and requires all participants to adhere to the following principles (if enforced by the Victorian Government at the time of the event). If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, fever, cough or sore throat or if you are currently waiting on your results of a COVID screen test, please notify us and do not attend any sessions.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Space at MBB is limited. If you cancel your booking and we are unable to fill your spot, there will be a fee charged to cover workshop expenses and accommodation costs (20% fee within two weeks, higher if within one week). If for any reason the event needs to be cancelled, participants will be refunded.
