MBB2023 | VIETNAMESE COOKING CLASS

Bringing food and friends together, Spice of Life cooking classes provide the opportunity to learn about, create and share food.

Make the most of fresh, real (and where possible, local) ingredients to put together a truly tasty lunch.

Vietnam is renowned for its tasty street food, and in this Vietnamese cooking class, you'll learn how to make Vietnamese dishes at home. Traditional dishes such as beef pho (beef and noodle soup), spring rolls in lettuce and herbs, summer rolls (rice paper rolls), Vietnamese chicken salad and green mango salad.

Class is hands-on with a relaxed feel, and includes recipes and a full lunch. Vegetarian and gluten free options available.

About your chef - Andy Kappes in her words...

I am a qualified and experienced educator in the food and nutrition field. More than that, I have always had a passion for real and delicious food - especially sharing meals and good times!  I teach secondary school students how to make healthy food choices and basic cookery skills and I have run adult cooking classes in the community for over 20 years. Can’t wait to be up on the mountain with you preparing, cooking and sharing a delicious feast!

MBB follows a COVIDSafe Plan aligned with Victoria's Roadmap and requires all participants to adhere to the following principles (if enforced by the Victorian Government at the time of the event). If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, fever, cough or sore throat or if you are currently waiting on your results of a COVID screen test, please notify us and do not attend any sessions.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Space at MBB is limited. If you cancel your booking and we are unable to fill your spot, there will be a fee charged to cover workshop expenses and accommodation costs (20% fee within two weeks, higher if within one week). If for any reason the event needs to be cancelled, participants will be refunded.
